Therapy Services I Provide

I currently am practicing with my LISW-CP license (which stands for licensed independent social worker- clinical practice). This license means I can practice my passion- counseling individuals to overcome obstacles in their lives!

I provide individual telehealth therapy sessions to adults 18 and older located in South Carolina with sessions ranging from 45- 60 minutes. Session times vary based upon what you need, and each individual’s personal needs are explored! I generally assist those with the following concerns:

  • Anxiety

  • Stress-Management Needs

  • Self-Esteem

  • Family Concerns

  • Mood Disorders (Primarily depression and bipolar disorder)

  • Thought Disorders (Schizophrenia and other forms of psychosis)

Payment and Scheduling

I use the online therapy platforms Headway and Rula which accept the following insurances:

  • Aetna (Headway)

  • BHS EAP (Rula)

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Headway)

  • Brighton (Rula)

  • Carelon (Rula)

  • Cigna (Headway)

  • Decent (Rula)

  • Medicare FFS (Rula)

  • Optum (Rula)

  • Quest Behavioral Health (Headway)

I offer a self-pay option ($90/ hour session) through Headway for those who do not see their insurance listed. While some insurance is not accepted, you may be eligible to receive out-of-network benefits in the form of money back after paying my self-pay rate!   • Each person will pay a different amount based upon their insurance coverage. These estimates are created through the therapy platforms, making it an easy process for you prior to your first therapy session. I also offer a private pay option for you if your insurance is not listed on my website.

  • This call is to provide an opportunity for you to describe your needs, find a little bit more about the therapy process and to determine if you’d like to move forward.   • Telehealth therapy allows you to join a session in a place most convenient for you. Many people engage from the comfort of their own home, and some find the process less stressful than coming into an office, especially if they are new to therapy.

  • Since I am practicing as a telehealth provider, I only hold online sessions. However, if you’re seeking out in-person options, I’d be happy to assist you in finding another provider!

  • The amount of sessions will vary from person to person, and the course of therapy will be discussed during the first session so everyone is on the same page! Your input is highly valued, and your personal needs will be monitored throughout the process to ensure your specific plan is working for you.

  • While it will definitely vary based on each person's unique needs, I like to incorporate some of the following aspects: Our first session together will include gathering background information tailored to help define your specific concerns and expected outcomes. I utilize concepts to help you challenge long-held beliefs which may be blocking you from experiencing meaningful change. I also dive into emotional regulation techniques to help you navigate distressing situations while feeling empowered.
